Some of these old videos are fishing demonstrations from 1956 featuring Johnny Dieckman, world champion. Johnny shows his championship form using a Mitchell 300 reel with a Conolon Rod, an Ambassadeur 5000 reel with a Conolon Rod, and an Abu Fly Reel with yet another Conolon Rod. These amazing 16mm films were found in 2009, converter to HD video and now we're showing them to the world.

Also found was a film from 1962 called "The Garcia Story" which I broke down to two short excerpts. One is on Garcia's Mitchell, Abu and Abu Ambassadeur reels. The other is the amazing documentary on how they made the famous Garcia Conolon Rods. Other historical films are also shown as you can see below. Click on each link for more information.

Finally, over the years I have produced a few videos on servicing and repairing Mitchell reels. More of these will be added as time permits.
