Another discovery, are these photos of an International 100 Reel (Mitchell 300 clone)
I don't recall seeing photos of this on MRM, but if there are, sorry for the duplicate.

This is nice, well made reel. Not a Mitchell, but a god clone

Nice looking and interesting reel . The clones often fall down in the internals .

That is a good looking reel. The grease fitting is a really good idea, but, it is doubtful any Americans would have a grease gun that fit that zerk, unless it came with the reel.
Thanks for the history lesson.

jtwill98,
Thank you for posting those beautiful photos. I believe those photos are some of the best ever posted of that reel on the forum.
In my opinion the term "Clone" does not really fit this reel and a better description would be to call it a copy. Surely most collectors can spot at least a half dozen variances form a Mitchell. Among my first thoughts was how was the manufacturer able to get past the Mitchell patents?
Photos of this reel have been posted on the MRM but were lost when a hacker broke in and wrecked much of the site several years ago.
Kind Regards,
Bill
