Mitchell Otomatic 320

Post by innyman »

Hi everyone

I’m trying to find a bit of history for a Mitchell reel that doesn’t seem to exist.

It looks like a 330 (I have one and 5 match’s)

It is marked below the Mitchell logo “320 otomatic”
The serial number is 5194566.

I wondered if any of you experts could throw some light on this.

Many Thanks.

Pictures would help. No larger than 700 - 800 pixels. More than likely a typo from Mitchell that escaped the factory. They did make a 320 but that is not an egg-shaped reel like the 300, 400 and 500 series.

Thanks. I have (I hope) added two files. The markings are not the finest but I’m sure it says 320.

As far as I can tell, it is a 330 Ottomatic. Screw up from factory. Stamped way too low. My :twocents-02cents:
