The blank is a MHX 5'6" cut down to 5.25", the guides are fuji rapid reduction. I use the following guide reduction train 16H,8H,6m,5.5 choker, (4) 5 runners, all the sizes are mm. The handle and reel seat size 18, measures 11".

Hi Don,
Have you kept this rod one piece? Or does it have a ferrule?
Best wishes
Glen

Glen, one piece UL fast action, strictly a trout or pan fish rod.

Re: Mitchell 408 ready to fish
Thanks guys! Going to walk the stream in the morning, and wet the line. The trout are stocked trout here, and most have been washed out of my area due to the hurricane (flooding). But the camo 308 & this 408, will get a work out during the fall stocking.
