Hi....New to the forum. Does anyone have a picture of the manual that came with a 1955 300? I have a very nice example but would like to have a manual to go along with it for my collection. Is it the black cover or something else?
Thanks
Martin

Toadman1, Welcome to the Mitchell Reel Museum Forum.
Hello, welcome. The 1955 Mitchell 300 model reels fall right when a new version was coming out. This means you might need either of two different manuals, depending on when your reel was made.
It would help if you could post a clear photo of the handle side of your reel showing the whole reel side. Also, do you know what the serial number is?
Are you looking to see what the manual cover looks like or do you want the schematic (exploded diagram)??
Kind Regards,
Bill

Thanks Bill, The serial # is 790995. Don't have a pic on hand but it still has the yellow Garcia Product sticker. The reel is pristine.

Wanted to add the manual to the reel and box for my collection. Not sure which one to look for.

Bill, Finally figured out how to post a pic. I run Linux and had to use Win OS.
