Just recently purchased a #307 reel thanks for having just a great website.1st question was the 307 just a variant of the 300 series reel,2nd where can I get a schematic for the reel, other than Ebay are there any other places to get parts? Thanks again Mark

1st of all to the site. Do some searching here as it will be leaving here and going to FB. The 307 is a left-handed version of the 306. Heavy duty freshwater and intermediate for salt water. Not sure where you can get a schematic. I have some but what is the date on your reel?? Normally stamped on foot where it meets the rod seat.

Thanks for your reply my 307 is a right handed version from what I have read it was available in left I did find a schematic they are out there not sure of the date numbers are hard to read gotta find my magnifying glass LOL

as far as I can read the series # is 48752 could this be correct?

Mark, that serial number is a very low 306/307 number. If correct, it is a first year production of 1958. There is a good chance you are unable to read a preceding number indicating a later production. There were always the digit 0 preceding that low of a serial number. Does your reel have a yellow Garcia sticker on it?
