Mitchell Reel Forum

Tried to research this but found nothing on Mitchel reel that doesn't have 300 on it or a A B C before the SN. Just Mitchell on crank side, 101954 & Made in France on the opposite side and 09 or 06 on the bottom where the base attaches to the fishing rod. Very Curious about the reel I found in a bunch of rods I bought at a swap meet. Will appreciate any information you can provide!

Welcome to the Mitchell Reel Museum!
The serial number on your reel would date a Mitchell 300 reel to circa 1953. We can probably tell you more about it if you can post some decent photos of it.
