Hi there,

I am new here and I am looking for some information regarding my Mitchell 300 half bail.
We are just looking for more information on dates, use of the bail arm mechanism etc? I have never seen this sort of mechanism before.

Any help/information would be greatly appreciated

to the Mitchell Reel Museum.

The Mitchell half bails were made back in the 40's up till around 1953, and were replaced by the common full bail.
Here's a pic of a page from the operating manual about using the reel. I hope this is some help.
