Post from old MRM
Am looking to help someone with a Mitchell 300. A member posted (on the old MRM) this is an article "I put up on a members-only UK forum". Are you a member here now? If so could you repost it?
Not home retired and fishing! Or playing with my Mitchell's!

Don,
That post was from "bailarm". He is a current member here and is a master Mitchell mechanic located in the UK. I'm sure he will check in or you could PM him. Hope all is well and the trout fishing is fine!
Kind Regards,
Chris

It was indeed me but I was unable to reduce all the images it really needed to make any sense.
Unfortunately the UK site I mentioned is largely members only and only two ( that I know of) US members managed to get membership before US bot attacks caused the site owner to block the US from his site once again. I think the wall was down for just 48 hours before that attacks recommenced.......
However, I did upload the whole thing to my vintage fishing tackle blog so hopefully anyone who wants to can see it here:
https://nobbystackle.wordpress.com/2014 ... -300-reel/
However, the internet hates me and for some inexplicable reason some of the images do not appear on that one blog entry, but there should be an active link in place on each occasion to take you to the image. Possibly.

Bailarm,
Thanks for the Mitchel reel service link. I can't wait to try your Mitchell reel service tips when activities show down in the coming months.
Regards,
Ted Lanham
