Just purchased two old 300's
1/ Ser.# A65707 stamped on foot.
2/ Ser. 15B on case.
Condition is used but could not pass up deal.
Should arrive by Sat. very excited they should be a nice addition.
Going to be interesting doubt if they are anything rare.

Reels arrived what a bust, sent two late Garcia Mitchells nothing close to photos, then guy called me scammer when I checked him on it, what a scum bag piece of @&it. people like that should not be on ebay.

Looking brighter, got full refund plus told to keep junk reels.

So now have two junk reels, doubt if parts are metal.
Like the box they came in.

Hello Schrack, Sorry to hear that you got played by the EBAY snuck. After buying and selling on EBAY for 25 years
I have only had one really ugly experience with Mitchell reels and Conolon rods. I guess I feel kinda lucky.
You already know this probably:
If you have any doubt in the seller, don’t buy.
I only buy from 100% feedback sellers. Period
Always check the wording carefully, be on lookout for vaguely specific descriptions
Make sure you ask for more photos if you don’t like what you see
The more you document this on EBAY the better your chances are getting a positive settlement in your favor.
Sellers live and breath off of get positive feedback,
Do not give them any until you are 100% happy

You are always better off asking a mate on this forum if they might be selling what you want

Roger Dat on positive feed back, got refund with in 15 minutes of filing claim, plus don' t send items back.
So I checked them out, both newer Mitchell's, one had a broken spool with line twisted up and prevented rotation, replaced spool, in twisted line and works great.
Second was just jammed Small obstruction in gears, cleaned off and works.
So now have two more to find a home for.
Guess all's well that ends well.
