new collector needs a little help

Post by hillbillyfisherman »

I guess I am just getting reel old and I need a little help. Is there somewhere I can see the size/capacity of the Mitchell reel model numbers?

thanks!

hillbillyfisherman,

Bill, one of the mates, was kind enough to post a chart in answering that question in the past.

Here's a copy of it.

Excellent chart. I wonder about the line thickness for 10llb test years ago compared to today with advanced technology??? More line able to be spooled?

Kim,
You are talking about monofilament line right? If you can give me the year and the pound test you are most interested in, I will keep an eye out for that information.
Kind Regards,
Bill :D
