Hallo Mates! I've just cleaned a clogged up 304 (-S ?)--purrs like a kitten now. Now the cover plate merely reads "Mitchell 3-0-4". Yet it lacks the crosswind cam (part 81 133 [65] on a normal 304 from the years 1953-1972): judging by the schematics it should therefore be a '304 S', which ...

1x304 "CAP"
1x320 (mint in box)
I don't think I'll ever have a Mitchell museum in my house, though.

Hello All, Introducing myself: Englishman, mid 50s, living in the State of Nebraska, USA. I've had a Mitchell 300 for about 10 years and, having used a variety of other, more modern, reels, have come to respect the Mitchell above them all: bought three more (so now have four, dating from 1957 to 196...
