From 1958 to 1979 The Garcia Corporation sold annual magazines to the public that can be seen by Clicking Here however; they had been distributing Garcia Tackle Catalogs several years prior to their first true annual. At first these appear to have been distributed to both the public and their wholesale distributors but as time and sales grew, these advance catalogs were only given out to the wholesale market making them much more rare, desirable and valued by collectors.

Please note that the ones marked "Carr" came from the collection of our dearly departed friend, Mr. Bill Arp. Mac not only worked for Garcia until their bankruptcy in 1978, he was also an avid collector of all things Mitchell. He continued on by opening his own Mitchell "representative" company called Mac Carr Enterprises, Ltd., in Teaneck, NJ.

Also note that any marked with an "S" were only supplements. It is debatable whether these were only given to wholesalers but most likely they were distributed to the public as handouts at the retail stores.
