My grandson came to my house today very excited that he had purchased a mitchell reel. It is a 206 which I have zero experience with. It is in great shape except the bail closes too far. It appears to be missing part 82 215. I have searched all over ebay and can not find anything. Is this an obsolete part
Or has he purchased a parts reel ? Thanks

hrgriz, The part is called a bail bumper, it goes on the bail spring side of the bail. It is a little plastic piece that stops the bail, they break very easily. I'll look tonight, I believe I have 1 or 2 that I won't be using. I stopped using that reel, for that problem. PM me with your email, and i'll talk to you about mailing them to you.

May your lines always be tight, Don
