Drag washers
I interchange spools between a Mitchell 308 and a 308A. Any harm in adding the 308A teflon and fiber drag washers to the spools that do not have them?

I never got into changing the drag washers around to meet my needs, but I have read a few posts about that where the mates played with that.
The schematic on 308As that I looked at used a fiber washer, so if you've got one without a washer try one or the other or both and see which works best for you.
