Hello mates,
While still a new member here, just under a month. I have been collecting 204-308 reel, but now branching out to other models.
Now I want to fish with an all Mitchell related, rod and reel. I know nothing about the rods (yet). But will continue to watch and learn!
My question is what should I be looking for, in an ultralight rod.

don309,
I suggest you read up on what "balanced tackle" is all about as that is what Garcia Mitchell recommended about their tackle. You will find information in old Garcia Mitchell advertisements, Fishing Annuals, catalogs, and booklets. Some are shown right here at the MRM and many are sold on auction sites.
Good Luck,
Kind Regards,
Bill :tup

Bill thanks, since the post I have seen that information. However I received 2 vintage Conolon blanks, and made rods from them.
