Hi Ron,

Well I was about to fire off a note to you and tell you it should be a Lee Wolff rod, but decided to look it up 1st on EBAY. Very nice find and is a rod that I have
never seen before. I do not know whom Dick Wolff is, Lee's brother? On my watch list now. Always surpises to be found. Cheers!

Kind Regards, Scott

Hi Ron,

Lee Wolff was a very well known fly fishing expert of the era that was contracted by Garcia to help validate the quality of the conolon fly rod Garcia was marketing. Garcia placed his name on the rods to help sell them. Cheers!

Regards, Scott

Hey Scott, Richard (Dick) Wolff worked for Garcia starting circa 1950 or earlier. By the mid-1950s he was a VP and even had his picture on many booklets including him surf fishing on abundant salt water booklets. I don't know much about Lee Wolff but always assumed they were brothers. Regards, Wallace
