I own a Mitchell 301DL Spinning Reel in Mint Condition with original Oak Box and Cardboard outer packaging. I would like to know its value as I am possibly going to sell it.

I appreciate any response.

Greetings Lggiant321,
Welcome to the Mitchell Reel Museum.

If I were you, I'd edit my email address out of my post. There have been cases where bad people get an address and pester the owner with spam, ads, etc. If anyone has some help for your request you can exchange PMs.
If you arn't able to remove your email from your post, I can do it for you.

My reply to your question is that there may be similiar reels that have been sold on ebay that might be a guide for you. Also, there were less 301DL outfits produced, but that doesn't mean that it would be worth more from a 300DL. :sHa_rollingsmilie:

The 301DL's as Ted stated were manufactured in lesser quantities. Now question is, which version do you have?? Several versions were made so pictures are a must. 800 megapixels or less to be upload and viewed here. You will not be able to see the upload until it is completed.
