Any tips on removing corrosion/rust off a 301 bail?
It’s been soaking in white vinegar for couple days. But, hasn’t seemed to help any. I may try sandpaper

Hi jdurbin91, Not being sure of what the bail on a 301 is made of ,its hard to say. If it's stainless steel you should be able to remove it with a fine emery cloth or crocus cloth and polish it back fairly nice. If it's chrome plated metal ,your more than likely going to take some of the chrome finish off. Once the finish is off ,about the only thing you can do would be to have it chrome plated somewhere but I think it's probably cost prohibitive, unless it means that much to you. Or you could try to find one on EBay. Maybe one of the other Mates has an idea for you. Best regards John in Pa. :sCh_fisherman:
