DEAR Moderators: I keep posting each day, however,
I am perplexed that no concrete address is available on behalf of the museum. I have tried to obtain info from Wallace
in NC; Nobody seems to have any interest in collection of
nearly 20 M. reels. This is not a sale but a contribution...
perhaps to provide parts so another reel might be restored!
The condition of most is very good, so perhaps a museum sale
of these reels to provide future $ reserves for the Museum.
My health issues dictate this gesture, but all of the Board
must be away on a prolonged cruise. This is quite urgent
so please somebody respond. Randall Koepke, dardevle

daredevil,
It's not uncommon for a post to languish a couple of days before someone attempts an answer. Since I am not an Administrator of the Museum, I felt like it might take several days for you to get a proper answer from the correct individual about your proposed donation.
Wallace has a lot of things going on, and he's has much less time than I do to check out the forum.
I assume you have already attempted to contact him via the Museum's email connections, but I have sent him a message via a Facebook message requesting he take a look at your post, and that's all I can do.

Regards,
Ted Lanham

Hello Randy, Wallace, Ted and Mitchell Mates,

I had responded to Randy request to this site (phone call) with his wanting to donate to the site. Randy has sent me about 10 reels that are all in need of some type of service, most of the reels are parts donor reels. If I can service them to make them usable it was what I had planned to do and make them available to all. If not their parts will be available to be used by all on this site. The catch is the hope that if anyone uses some of the parts or takes a reel that they will make a donation back to the Mitchell site and help support Wallace and the expenses incurred here to keep it supporting what we all love so much, the Mitchell Reel. Many thank to Randy for his donation he seems to be a really nice guy and is very passionate about his Mitchell reels as they have passed thru his family over the years. I will try to list the reels in a couple days, just received on Thursday, hadn't had time to go thru them yet.

Kind Regards, Scott

Hello Scott,

If you need parts to put those reels back in action, I have a pretty good selection and would be happy to donate whatever you need. Just let me know after you get a chance to go through them.

Best Regards,
Chris

Mates,
I , too, have a small pool of parts, and I would be glad to help.

Ted Lanham
