Well bought a pair of reels unseen, just Photos.
Noticed the 300 had what appeared 5 numbers, purchased the 2.
Arrived today and what a surprize, 67914. Plain as day on case.
Reel had bail out of alignment fixed in 5 minutes.
Took apart, just when you think you have seen everything, grease was packed in not a little but packed and reel still worked as could be expected.
After a good cleaning and all shiny and new looking, put back together and wow what a fantastic Reel.
Guess I keep another.
Wish they would have not removed Garcia Sticker (glue was still n case).
According to Reds Chart is a 53.
Did not have plastic transfer gear, but other gear had a small dome like bump coming out of its top.
Anti/reverse dog was a little ifferant.
Spool was metal but did not have Alum. Base, but has 3 screws.
The other reel was a 2000-25 Shake sphere light spinning reel which I put on matching Rod and will go on my bargain pile.
Well 2021 went out with a bang, lets Hope 22 will be better.
