Hello, Mitchell has not made that reels,

Attached the photo of a bite alarm which is a part of small accessorys Mitchell of my collection,

Down the photo of this bite alarms scanned on the catalog Mitchell 1968 page 13,

The search for these small accessorys is also very interesting, it's my opinion.

Hello,

Unfortunately this bite alarm does not work, the internal parts are oxidized,

It has nothing to do with modern equipment, no electronics, only a switch, a lamp, a buzzer and a battery of 1.5 volts,

The wheel A is used to adjust the force with which the system must function, which adjusts depending on the strength of current of the river. The switch B, in the attack of a fish, triggers the power supply lamp (red) and sound (buzzer)

I also made a picture with the parts that no longer work, buzzer, light.

Regards

Hi Roy,

I've never seen one like this, I know Balzer sold ones similar to yours but they had their name on it. My guess would be special order from a tackle company in Scotland?

I'm also trying to find information on this Mitchell plug:

Has anyone ever seen these advertised?
