Anyone notice they come in a variety of sizes, not just large and small.
I am referring to measurements.
I always try to go stock.
However a while back I used a Carbon Graphite, fell in Love with them.
I have acquired about 12 and use them instead of stock spool.
Was reluctant at first putting one on a 1954, but believe me it upgrades preformance.
I like either 12# Berkley Tri line or Stern Catfish line in Orange.
My two Blazers I use Ande 12#.
I can not believe the improvement those spools made.
The other point is they hold a little less line than the old ones, but it is enough unless you need 200 yds.
I am sure slot of you would say keep it stock.
