Greetings my fellow Mitchell mates! I've had this cover plate for several decades. It was put away with other very rare parts, like NOS half bail arms and other very hard to find parts. I've listed this on Ebay with a starting price of 99 cents. May the best man win!

I believe this is a NOS part but some could argue, so I'm just saying it's "like NOS and you decide." The listing can be found at https://www.ebay.com/itm/MITCHELL-RAPID-REEL-FIRST-VERSION-COVER-PLATE-3-SCREWS-INCLUDED/273616809367

All the best,
Wallace :sFun_oldguy:

What an unusual thing! It appears not to have had a bush ever put in it.

Yet these side covers were cast around the bush with a cross-hatching to stop it ever moving.

How unusual...maybe even unique??
