I have a green metal Garcia Mitchell 300 K kit box. I believe it is 1955. Just wondering if anyone knows general value and if there is any interest out there. I am unable to find any postings for similar items for sale or that have sold. Thinking about posting in Ebay.

I posted some pictures in the GM kit box thread under the "Questions for the Mitchell Reel Museum".

Thanks for your help.

Guest,
Since, I haven't seen a kit box like yours sell, I don't have an idea what one may be worth considering its condition issues.
Ebay may be the best place sell something obscure like this box if you are already a seller there, but I'm sure some of the mates on this site would be interested, myself included!
If you register on the Museum, it makes communicating between mates easier through PM(Private Mail).

Regards,
Ted Lanham

I have added a picture of the original Silicote reel lubricant that was in the tackle box - it was included in the items that was in the box when I purchased it.

I will be adding more pics. I have found the original Mitchell combination reel tool. I also have the original clear plastic lure kit that contained the 6 baits. I am looking through the baits that were in the box to see if they match.

I have decided to move forward with selling the Mitchell 300 K kit tackle box, combination tool, and Silicote reel lubricant. I appreciate all the advice, recommendations, information, and offers that I have received. I received many responses from this website and a couple from ebay. I will be posting these items for sale on ebay on Saturday May 9th. I received a very wide range of offers. The starting price will be based on the highest offers that I received.

Thanks again for all your information and help with identifying this item.
