I have some heads that are new old stock for sale, $15.00 each plus postage.
They are as follows
81092 for the 400
81105 for the 410
81106 for the 411
also have some for the following reels, some of these have an old piece of masking tape stuck on it where someone put the number of the reel it went to. a few of them are in original plastic bags.
302N/386, 303,303N/387, 307, 396, 402, 403, 406,407, 486, 487, 488, 489

Also have some heads that do not have any numbers on them. They are very shallow, maybe for some type of skirted spool?

Hey Syd, I'll take the 400 and 410 if you still have them. Bail wires too if possible? Please send me a PM with info needed for me to make payment. Regards, Wallace

Madmoe51,
Welcome to the Mitchell Mates board.
You can figure out the age of the egg shaped reels by clicking on this link. viewtopic.php?f=77&t=22
The other Mitchell reels can be a bit more difficult. You can do a search for a particular model under "Mitchell Reel Talk" and , maybe, get an idea from some of the boards past discussions.
Regards,
Ted Lanham

Hello Syd,
I'm interested in the 487, 488 and the 387 if you still have them.

Hello, Yes I still have them. If you are in the USA pm me with your phone number and when a good time to call is. If outside of USA then send me your address so that I can figure out the shipping and give you a total price.
Thanks, Syd
