While collecting Mitchell's, I use most of them. I got tired of looking through all of them, so I made this. Easy to make, and now I see actually which one I want. |

Don, Very nice! That makes it easy for storage, and it keeps them getting banged around. I think Chris Shannon does something similar using "O" rings instead of rubber bands. Regards, Ted Lanham |

Don, Very nice work ![]() Attachment: Reel Display.jpg I've made 7 of these for my reel room and the sizes vary to accommodate the specific reel i.e. the Salt Water display has a larger offset than the 308/358/409 to accommodate a larger reel and box. My largest display is 8ft wide by 5ft tall with 4 shelves and dowels - this holds my half bail/300/300C/330/350 reels. Regards, Chris P.S. I use many of mine too - that's why Mitchell made them and I bought them ![]() |

Hey Chris, you got it...standard fir 1 x 4 at Home Depot....amazing what a five dollar can of Cherry stain can do...$27 all in for a 4’ x 4’ unit with 6 shelves...I held the unit 1 1/2” off the wall so longer boxes would fit...easy to build too...that was the best part...may build something nice someday...
