Have noticed in my spare Spool box several of 304 spools are missing part. # 82122, Clickspring.
Is their only purpose to make a clicking noise when drag is in play?
Spools seem to function with out them.
Any thoughts?
Was thinking I could use my bender and make a few, only difference would be springs would be round, not flat.
