:text-welcomeconfetti: to the Mitchell Reel Museum. If that is the complete SN, then Wallace states that it was made in 1954. Sometimes the full SN doesn't get stamped completely. A picture would tell us if is likely from that year or not.

Hi Steve,

You went from 6 digits to 7 on the serial number. Which is it? Also, I can’t see what’s to the right of Mitchell on the cover plate. Is there anything there?

7 numbers 3067624 i was going to take a photo of the serial number but it will be to blurry

I'm glad to see Wallace has been here answering questions. Unless I'm mistaken the handle on your reel is not correct for the time period of your reel. The plastic nut end and circles on the shaft part of the reel was made years later than the right one. It shouldn't be too hard to find the correct one though.......
