I am now proud owner of the two Balzer Reels that just were up for Sale.
Going on nice Sportex Rods with Ande line, ready to fish.
My question is How many parts on these Reels are the same as the US Imports.
Have been looking for these for a while, got Lucky and got both Models in one day.
I love the Turkey looking bird that is on case. (Not sure if that is what the bird is.)
Any info will be appreciatef .

Congratulations on your recent finds. There is no difference in the BALZER reels as opposed to the others. Only difference is the BALZER engraved in the side plate reel means it was marketed through a German vender that was granted distribution rights by Mitchell. Hope this helps...

Yes it does, I could not top this one. Getting Two in one night.
Prepared Two Rods for them.
1/ Sportex which I have had for a long time, a Super Rod.
2/ Wright/McGill with Dueschland Colors , almost new.
Will put Salmon Colored Ande Line 12#.
Should be a great combo.
Was worth the wait, all my trips to Dueschland and never thought of Mitchell Reels.
The Reel Gods Smiled on me, Thank You. :text-coolphotos:

Here are the Ser. #'s on both Reels.
The Butterfly Dog 6829296
Flat Dog B474662
Any one know if you would use our Number Chart?
Would this Version be on a separate Chart?
Any info would be helpful.
Should be arriving Mon. or Tues.
