Mitchell Reel Forum

I took apart my reel three years I ago and don’t have a schematic. I don’t understand how to reinstall the main shaft and how it mates with the spool. I know I should have talked pictures but did not. There is a toothed ring at the top of the shaft and I don’t understand it’s function.
