I have never owned a 314, so I checked the schematics. It looks like part 81158 will work on 300s,308s,314s, so my buddy may have a 314 drag knob on his 358. I'll see if I can get a pic of it.

Mates, I was just admiring the gold Mitchell 300 when I noticed something about the bail. It appears that either the bail goes into the backing that the reel sets in , or that part of the bail is missing. I was just curious, so I did a search for part 82424, and the only thing I found was a site that had a strange name, maybe Asia, that claimed they had one. Even checked completed sales on ebay. It sounds like those are going the same way that of new 300 faceplate screws. :o :o
