I have this strange cover of 496. Clearly you can read 496, but the main picture of the reel is from a 486. The cover hasn´t be manipulated, so I´m sure is an original one. Is it a normal condition? Thanks.

Thanks for your messages. Here you are some more pictures. I also have atached an inside picture where you can see a kind of paste to perform rotor compensation. Otherwise, the handle is a little bit smaller than another 906 I have.

Thanks for your opinions. It is a Mitchell 906. The strange thing for me is to see that the pan where the pickup supports are anchored does not appear to be cutted.

First of all, thank you for your messages. Regarding the serial number is a little bit difficult to know exactly because of the conditions of this part of the reel (France appears perfectly), however I think the serial number is 0. 1. 10 What information does it give?

I´ve got a 496 pro. All the parts seem to be from this reel (spoole, back with the medal, axe...) but in the manin part where the crank goes the logo is a little bit different. You can read MITHCHELL in gold letter in the top and in the botton comen PRO (on an stiker) 496 (also in gold letter). Ussu...
